*B. Please describe the day-to-day responsibilities of the position:*
Development; Troubleshooting; Technical Analysis; Delivery of Solutions.
At this level the successful candidate will be responsible for technical
analysis of recommended solution; fully aware of impact of proposed
technical solution on the environment; able to apply strong technical
expertise to deliver high quality technical solutions and escalates issues
appropriately. This individual will also be responsible for
contributing/writing of technical scripts for testing, assembly of test
plans and technical documentation.
1. *List of hard skills required*
1 IBM WebSphere Application Server/Portal Server and IBM Portlet API.

2 Knowledge of IBM Web Content Management (WCM)
*Strong*
3 Experience and skills to integrate applications (including legacy
applications) into Portal framework *Strong*
4 J2EE technologies (JSP, Beans, JSF, Servlet) *Strong*
5 Building, deploying, troubleshooting and maintaining Portal
applications. *Strong*
6 Java language and object oriented programming skills. *Strong*
7 Knowledge of IBM Personalization Engine *Moderate*
8 Database design and programming for SQL Server *Moderate*
*F. List of desirable skills (Hard Skills, Soft Skills, etc. desired but
not required) in priority order:*
1 Person must be able to design web GUI using page layouts, Themes,
menus using JavaScript. *Strong*
2 Person must be able to analyze requirements and create design
documents and develop Portal application. *Strong*
3 Create and Perform Unit testing. *Strong*
4 Strong understanding of all phases of the Software Development Life
Cycle and process methodologies using RUP - highly desired. *Strong
