Requirement in a nutshell: Looking for QE script development experience. Candidate should be an expert in LoadRunner in the following areas; 1. Script development 2. Run tests 3. Analyze results WinRunner is a bonus. Description: Mercury Interactive Script Development, Indicative Script Development and Support for the Company Product Solutions business unit. Develop, support, and maintain Mercury Interactive Scripts, Indicative Scripts and associated environments. The Mercury Interactive suite of tools used by the Quality Engineering group includes LoadRunner and WinRunner. Indicative Scripting is used for Application monitoring. These products improve the overall quality of Company external and internal applications. LoadRunner is used to assist Company development teams in determining the amount of load (i.e. number of users) that applications and associated server complexes can handle. Indicative monitors application servers to insure that the applications and servers are operational. WinRunner performs repetitive automated functional tests to reduce functionality errors. Onsite Technical Lead: Resolve queries with Company project team. Allocate and oversee the work to offshore developers. Resolve queries raised by offshore developers. Test deliverables developed offshore for quality and standards adherence. Provide acceptance support and fix post delivery errors. Report status of ongoing project to the US Company IT Manager/IT Project Lead and Client Company Manager/GRO Project Lead. Oversee the completion of script code development, including code walkthroughs with Company project team. Update Unit test plan. Offshore Resources: Understand the requirements set out in the Lotus Notes Request forms. Get clarifications on the work item with the onsite coordinator. Complete the conversion process tasks and/or script code development. Unit test the programs. Minimum of two-year recent experience with Mercury Interactive, and Mercury Interactive LoadRunner, including VUGen and Controller (required). Minimum of 1 year experience in Mercury Interactive WinRunner (highly desirable) Fundamental understanding of HTTP, HTTPS, Winsock, and TCP/IP protocols (highly desirable). and/or Mercury Interactive TOPAZ(Highly Desirable) General understanding of Mercury Interactive support procedures (highly desirable).
