Job Description - TAC (Technical Assistance Centre)
Support
You will interface with US-based customers, provide remote Technical
support to products & applications and resolve product related issues
through research and trouble-shooting. An Engineer, you should be a

Engineers from such companies work onsite at the clients place.
If an onsite engineer faces an issue with and is not in a position to
troubleshoot, he will escalate the call to SUN as a final level of
support. This is where Slash Support steps in and troubleshoots on
behalf of Sun Microsystems.
Engineers in Slash Support have to respond to the queries by,
1.Picking up the calls
2.Request for a detailed mail on the problem
3. Call back the client with a solution or solve the problem through
direct telephonic Support.
4. Engineers in Slash Support will have direct access to various
internal SUN resources that will help them in the process of
troubleshooting.

Candidates within the CTC range on 1.5 to 4 lacs would be ideal.
