Job Title: SAP BW Location: Wayne PA Duration: 1 Year SAP BW Contractor Responsibilities: 1. Work collaboratively with the Shire SAP Delivery Center Team and Shire SAP Business Liaisons (Super Users) to define and prioritize new reporting requirements. Design, test, and successfully implement approved changes in a manner consistent with Shire's BW design standards. Maintain high level of understanding of business processes, especially FI/CO and Supply Chain, and SAP/BW capability in order to provide a quality BW support service to the business. 2. Provide robust daily monitoring of the BW solution including timely resolution of production support issues, including process chain failures, full/delta data load/reload issues, etc. Resolve production support issues on a timely basis. Initial daily monitoring should be performed at the beginning of the UK business day to deliver a proactive monitoring service globally. 3. Comply with all change control procedures and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in the support of existing functionality, requested changes, and in the development of new solutions. Contribute to the maintenance of Shire's SAP solution as a SOX and GMP compliant solution. Maintain currency of SAP BW documentation. 4. Support the SAP Help Desk by serving as a 1st or 2nd level of support resource. Ensure Help Desk tickets are created/maintained on a timely basis. 5. Contribute to new hire and refresher user training to maintain a high standard of SAP BW skill within the user population. Ensure that user training documentation is always current. 6. Contribute to the analysis of OSS notes and other SAP BW technical fixes/upgrades. 7. Experience with Business Objects is a plus. 8. Experience with designing / implementing formal ETL processes using Informatica is a plus. 9. Experience with SAP's Master Data Management (MDM) solution is a plus.
