I have taken some 10" Sinclair VHF cavities and copied the harnass from from a 6" store bought duplexer, except instead of a tunable capacitor made from polystyrene and tubing, I used a length of coax for the notch tuning, snip, snip watch for the dip on the spectrum display unit.
The harnass alone cost around $150 for type N fittings and T fittings.
