Good evening. I have an UHF MSF5000 CXB "digital" series repeater that I would like to gate the PL on using the internal MSF circuitry. There is a jumper on the CLB "analog" model that lets you do this but I cannot find one on the CXB. Does anyone know if this is possible using the programming software or is there a jumper I am just not seeing on the schematics?
Our repeater group uses an external controller and I want to gate the PL instead of using reverse burst to quieten the users radio as most of our users do not have motorola radios. By gating the PL, I mean that the PL is only transmitted while there is a signal on the input to the repeater. No input signal-no PL on the transmitter. Thanks, Andy Masters NU5O Your use of Yahoo!
