Chris,

To the best of my knowledge about the Link Net, the repeater itself goes key down. Not the remote Base. To me, how it can be interfaced though is a problem because of my limited knowledge about Motorola radios.

Subject: [Repeater-Builder] GM-300 5-pin UHF radio as remote base

Sorry I do not have the model number available. A club I am a member of has lost their UHF remote base radio. I have a GM-300 5-pin radio I can pull to loan them indefinitely. Their requirements are a binary select, frequency agile UHF transceiver.

If this radio will work, what mods do I need to do to it? The remote base is used for IRLP, Southeastern Linked Repeater Net, and Skywarn. With the SLRN it could be keyed down for as long as 1 - 1 1/2 hours.
