Im about to change some caps on a micor 50 mhz rx board .
its not hearing worth a crap on new rx freq 52 mhz . 20 mv for 12 at
3 kc it shoud be abought 20 or 30 uv for 12 @3 kc some of the stages
tune better by removing the slug compltly . its hearing but not much

I have looked at the values for the cap mods and orderd the ones i
need or as closse i could get from mouser. i ordered silver micas hope
their ok it has mostly discs in it now aney one ever tuned one up on
50 before? just looking for advice or tips to make it rx ok. are all
the caps values REAL important or aney stage need specal love? looks
like i half to change abought 10 or so of the caps

I also am going to do my first 2 meter board i have a low split 130-
142 or somthing like that and a bunch of h splits shoud i just use
the 5 pole filter off L board and mod a h split and transfer the 5
pole filter or just use the L split with 5 pole and chang a few caps?
the scmatic shows the L and m as using same inducters and the h and hh
as using different inductors so it looks like i shoud use the L and
just put the m caps on it?

thanks for all the help on the sinclair duplexer r101gc mod its
notching really well and the mod for it went great and it tuned right
up and is awating a rx unit and tx unit. also thanks for the info on
the micor rx and tx interface boards i have fixed that too. my
crystals just came in and rx needs some work now

aney one know where to get fc disc caps ? some of the weird values pf
.56fc,.51fc,.82fc, 1.0fc whats the fc ? freq comp ? I may not half
to touch these i dont want to get crazey with it i just want it to
here deacent their is a few differnt mods on the site some say change
all of caps other say just the 10 or so that arent fc
thanks a bunch for all advice
