Unless you've got a really finicky receiver, I doubt you will be able to see any difference between 50 and 75 ohm cable whether you match it or not. The only reason I bother to match it is for the transmitter... and in many cases it doesn't matter there either (however I would always attempt to match it on repeaters due to the possibility of increased desense due to SWR) Paul N1BUG Yahoo!
