I've had my first generation 2955 around 5 years and it has never let me down
a bit bulky and heavy but an all around decent monitor, only things I wish it had
are dtmf,dpl encoder/decoder and a tracking generator/spectrum analyzer.
good service monitor to learn on and can be had for a reasonable cost
if any one has a front cover lying around for a 2955 I could use one, I broke mine
