Hi this is off topic I am planning a 2M cubical quad, four elements. I have gone through the article in ARRL hanbook about 4 element portable quad. My questions are 1. I am using solid copper wire 4 mm dia, are those dimensions ok? 2. Anything against using a conducting boom? i propose to use 1.5 " aluminium pipe or square section thanks Sandeep VU2BX   Yahoo!
