I think I remember correctly - Its a simple variable resistor on the
board in the bottom center of the chassis,  next to the relay. On the
vertically mounted board to the side is  CW tone, speed, and ID timing
I think, along with the CW
programming. Careful of the exposed 120 leads laying around in there.
Mine was serial # 445 - Still have several of the left over parts
