I have used the Hustler G7-220 for many years in a high wind area and it has held up very well. No snap crackle or pop through the repeater during wind. There is no ice or snow here in So. Cal. so others may want to comment on their experiences with this antenna in harsh environments. The Cuscraft 220 four pole is another good antenna. I don't know if they are still being manufactured. http://www.wb0w.com/hustler/g7220.htm
