PORTABLE? The 202GC is a huge monster! Trade it for something a bit more
compact like a Q2330. But yes,it can be modded down to 2 meters.It would
help to know what frequencies it was built for.Mine was a low 150 and it
tuned up without any cable mods,just had to extend the center conductors on
the slide tuned capacitors.More info at the repeater-builder
