Hello,

Man, that's a blast from the past! I can still remember the old 7 watt all
tube Canadian Marconi UHF repeater we had in service in Fort Worth. The
station also had a 25 watt Canadian Marconi power amplifier (still have one
somewhere). The only way to keep it semi dependable was to outfit it with 7
cooling fans! The only time it gave problems after that is when someone
would open the door on a windy day and in a gust of wind the station would
take off like a helicopter! It would hit the end of the AC cord, unplug
itself, only to settle softly back to the ground. Those were the days!

What, did I miss April 1st?????

Paul

Hi Burt,

I seem to have lost your e-mail address so I hope you get this via the list.
I am in need of a manual for an old Canadian Marconi DJ-96 all tube VHF base
station. Would you know where I could find such a thing?
