Hi all,

Scott Zimmerman and I have been hard at work in the Repeater Builder
shop coming up with some new articles and information relating to the
Motorola Micor.
After extensive research, we have completed the "Comprehensive
Conversion" of the High-Band Micor Exciter for use in the 1-1/4 meter
band (222 mHz.)

We believe this to be the best conversion available in terms of
information provided and performance obtained. It is a different
concept providing a multiplication factor of X18. The conversion is
different than others currently found on the internet or elsewhere, and
the conversion article is self explanatory:

In addition, we have completed the modification of the Micor PM exciter
to True FM. Again, the conversion is self explanatory:

This information, teamed up with my Micor receiver conversion, allows
you to get consistent, excellent performance on 220:

All of the Micor 220 mods (new and old) are available from the Micor 220
