Hello Jay,
If I remember correctly, the 4048 duplexer is a notch type of
duplexer. Years ago we had one on a UHF ham repeater. It worked fine. But
the problem with a nothch type of duplexer is that it does nothing to
attenuate other frequencies, only yours. I would strongly recommend putting
a pass cavity or two between the duplexer and your repeater receiver if you
decide to use it.

Subject: [Repeater-Builder] Tuning Decibel DB-4048 Duplexers
Has anyone had any luck tuning and using the Decibel DB-4048
duplexers on the ham bands? If so, is there enough separation to use
them for a repeater application? I would like to know if these are
worth the effort trying to tune and use these cavivies for a ham
repeater application.
Jay
