My personal opinion is that dual-band antennas are not a good choice for
a repeater.  Yes, such an antenna is a compromise from the git-go, and
it does not present a stable impedance to the power amp.  By its very
design, it may have responses that can create a nightmare of
intermodulation mixes to which single-band antennas are relatively
immune.  I feel that a heavy-duty, broadband antenna is always better
than a multi-band antenna.
