My radio club recently acquired several EF Johnson PPL6060 UHF mobile
radios, and I would like to use them for 9600 baud digital links.
Unfortunately, I have no schematic diagram of the oscillator circuitry
to assist me in making the appropriate modifications and/or connections.
I have had no luck in obtaining a service manual for this model radio,
but I am hopeful that some list member who owns the manual may be able
to scan a portion of the schematic diagram that pertains to the transmit
oscillator. I will be very grateful for such an image sent to me at
[EMAIL PROTECTED]
My flatbed scanner can handle 11 by 17 inch schematics, so if someone
reading this message has an original service manual for the PPL6060, I
am willing to scan the entire book onto a CD in return for the privilege
of getting this information. The original book will be returned.
