You really need to update to something more modern, my service monitor is calibrated in meters......Do you have a Singer or a Cushman???
Seriously, physical separation of antennas helps, the rule of thumb has been that vertical separation is 10 times more effective than horizontal separation. So, with that theory, 10 feet of vertical separation equals 100 feet of horizontal separation. The repeater antenna sends power out in the horizontal direction, so under the antenna there is a null. If you mount two antennas horizontally separated, they are focusing power towards each other.
