The MTR2000 repeater is equipped with a varactor-tuned preselector that
has been factory-aligned for the full bandwidth of the receiver. The
installation manual describes the Optimization Procedure in which the
receiver is optimized at the repeater input frequency. Unless this has
been tinkered with, it's best to leave it alone. If the receiver
sensitivity is 0.35 uV or better for 12dB SINAD, it's best not to mess
with it. There are no tuning slugs or capacitors in the MTR2000; all
tuning is done electronically through the RSS.
