[Repeater-Builder] Question on Mitrek conversion

Hi,   I do not recall seeing a "commandment" saying that the existing white coax coming from the antenna relay to the receiver and to the transmitter should definitely be replaced with something better. Is it double shielded cable?  I realize that in its first life the Mitrek mobiles were not duplex.  In my first two conversions I used small hardline to replace the coax entirely,  but maybe this is not necessary?   Thanks   Bruce, ve1ii   Yahoo!
