Charles,

I'm surprised the radio wasn't more seriously damaged.  If the receiver
still works okay, and has nominal sensitivity, you probably can leave it
alone.  If the resonator coil position has not changed, replacing it may
not be worth the trouble.  If it were my own equipment, I'd replace any
damaged parts just to be safe.
