I'm playing around with a GE MVP I picked up (well, picked up AND paid
for actually) at Dayton. It seems the DC supply has what appears to be
an OEM DC remote in it. It has a transformer (about 1.5" cubed) and two
yellow pots on it. Has anyone ever seen on of these? It is mounted along
the side behind the speaker, and connects to a terminal strip that is at
the center top of the unit. There are also three wires (red, black, and
white) going to a mic plug that plugs into the radio itself, and three
shielded wires going to the rear connector on the two pins toward the
middle of the unit, and the next one over on the top. It appears this
may be a RX audio line, but I didn't look into the radio yet. Again, has
anyone seen anything like this?
It appears to be all OEM, as the model starts with C (Extended control).
