OK, all. I got it! I got the VCO to lock for use at a freq as low as 144.910. It will now go 144.910 through 147.555 - tested.

I don't know the board number with the jumpers I'm referring to offhand (and I'm not at the shack to look at it right now), but if it helps you to have that number, I'll be able to get it a bit later. I can also provide photos, if that might help.
