I used a standard Amphenol T connector. Use a plier to unscrew the pin on the male connector and the rod connecting the 2 female ports slides right out. Cut one of the female slip on connectors right before the grooves end. Put it back together and make sure the signal generator goes into the end with the missing collet. I painted mine red so it stands out and put a black stripe on the signal generator port. Some of the new (Cheap) offshore connectors do not screw apart, find an old one with 2 flat lands on the rear of the male pin and you are good to go.
Don't worry if the silver plating is black, silver oxide is as good a conductor as silver. It just looks bad!
