pin 5 of squlch card q18 in put i think goes high when i put it in
cos and stays their. when card is out pin 5 changes with input to
reciever like it should. so i guss that is the problem. i cant see
how its going high from the cos select jumper unless the transistor
is shorted q 18. i checked it in circut with meter and it looks ok
so ill pull it out to be sure
jump 10 is in and it was in and it was working fine so somthing went
im pretty sure in the squlch gate card cause local audio is fine pl
or cos with out card in.and it works ok with card in in pl mode but
cos mode makes it have noise all the time out speaker and xmit audio
wont mute during hang time i dont under stand why it works ok in pl
and not cos is q18 not used in pl mode? ill pull q 18 out and check
it better and also may try a other one in its place allso
i checked all the diodes with meter they all look ok too.
got to be somthing shorted to pin 5 q 18 of sq gate card but only in
cos wish i had a spair card to try
