Matthew and all, I'm currently working on documentation for a modification to allow use of the VHF Syntor in the 2m ham bands. As soon as I get it finished, I will post it to the Repeater-Builder's website.
As far as programming itself, there are a few people out there who can actually burn a PROM for you, but I don't have the equipment (yet). There is even one or two who have a plug-in module that replaces the one-time PROM with an EEPROM.
