One time I dealt with a group that said they couldn't make the PL decoder work
on a Micor 10 meter receiver & that is why their repeater was in carrier
squelch. So I went to their RX site & installed a PL decoder & had it all
hooked up & working in PL decode. About a month later the repeater was
running in carrier squelch again. The excuse they gave was that some of their
users didn't have PL.

This is part of what I was bringing up earlier about the several repeaters in
West Virginia.
