John,

You may want to check with your local cable TV company. They may have some on hand and may be nice enough to core it for you. Never hurts to ask. Tell 'em you're with the TV station.

If it's really "625" (0.625" unjacketed, about 0.7" jacketed) 75 ohm aluminum smooth-wall "semiflex" cable TV distribution cable that you have, you want a BAFF connector which will give you type F female.  Check with Toner Cable (www.tonercable.com), North American Cable (www.northamericancable.com), et al.  You need a coring tool to do it right.  Maybe somebody in the CATV industry will pop up and offer you a few - I checked and I only have "500" series here.

Subject: [Repeater-Builder] Need Hardline connectors!

I need two connectors for 5/8-inch hardline. I would prefer BNC or "F" connectors for termination. (Will settle for anything)
I have over 350 ft of excess cable that I will trade for connectors, if anyone is interested.
The cable jacket says "1994 Commscope" on it.
I am hoping for someone with extras, but any suggestions on where to purchase will be appreciated as well.
Can this cable be buried under ground?

Thanks!
