I hate it when someone mentions dB and Sunits at the
same time. There is no standard for s units to dB.
Most VHF receivers I have seen with smeters are
nowhere 6 db per sunit. I have seen some that are
close to 3 db per sunit .
AS FM goes from noise to full quieting and no more in
a few Db the smeter does not mater . YOu either have
good audio or not.
