Jim, your right Kenwood does attempt to protect it's dealers with an internal policy to purchase products from local dealers. This policy is Kenwoods, NOT mine, therefore I need not follow it!
Fortunately this is America and we are able to choose from whomever we want to purchase products from, even if I have a Kenwood dealer right next door to my location. Your definition of "legit" is inaccurate and insulting to the buyer of Kenwood products.
