I suspect that the UHF TV antenna weighs in at 1000 pounds plus. From the picture, it appears that this antenna has a flange midway up the array where the array can be separated into two pieces.
Possibly you could remove the UHF array in two pieces and better mount you ham antenna. I do not think that the average gin pole would do to remove the array. I have to agree with the others, the noise is probably coming from the amateur grade antenna placed into repeater service. The folded dipole antenna are much better in that they survive lightning and rarely go bad.
