I built (my first and only repeater) for the 6-meter 500 KHz split. I used Mitrek radios and put the repeater on a large broadcast tower, RX at 500 feet and TX at 1000 feet. I used no duplexers or filters and have excellent results. Running at 70 watts with DB 212 folded dipoles for TX and RX.
