Kevin, That surprises me, because I have several DVP stations of the same model, and all worked with the jumpers I described. A few questions come to mind:
1. Have any traces been cut or bridged on the DVP backplane? 2. Are the SCM, TOT, and SG modules absolutely "stock" with no modifications? 3. Are there additional jumpers on the backplane besides the jumpers I specified? 4. Did the repeater operate properly in DVP clear mode before you acquired it? 5. When you say "no repeat function" do you mean that the transmitter does not come on when a correct input signal is received, or do you mean that the transmitter does come on but without repeated audio? Check to ensure that the TLN5970A Station Control Module is suffix "-2" or later, if you are using a TRN8684A Timeout Timer Module. If the SCM is earlier than suffix -2, you MUST use only the TLN4636A TOT module. This tidbit of information is in SMR-3638-1. Don't forget to program the jumpers in the TLN4662A Squelch Gate Module per the chart in the manual. Use the settings shown for a repeater (RT) station without wire line control. Finally, ensure that the PA keying wire that plugs into the left side of the PA is also plugged onto Pin 10 on the rear of the backplane. 73, Eric Lemmon WB6FLY Kevin Bednar wrote: > > I have done exactly this on mine as well, but still no repeat function... > > From: Eric Lemmon [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Sent: Saturday, October 02, 2004 1:38 PM > To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > Subject: [Micor] Help with DVP backplane information > > Steve, > > I have a C73RXB3106BT in my shop right now, and it is working fine.
