You Can't imagine how many UHF repeaters have Pre Amps most of them come from http://www.advancedreceiver.com/index1.html. That's advancedreceiver dot com Great product. You should be able to get enough isolation from your duplexer with a 5 Meg split to use one at UHF. 73 Coy
