I have a number of 1/4 kW Micor PURC stations in storage that I need to
get rid of this week. I forget how many there are, probably around 5 or
6. If you're not familiar with a Micor PURC, it's pretty much the same
as a regular Micor except it was made for paging service, and as such,
there are some extra cards in the control shelf, a high-stability
oscillator, etc. There are probably audio delay units, a 202 modem, and
some other stuff in the cabinet as well (no duplexers). I don't know
what band receiver is in them. It could be T-band or 72 MHz; you might
have to drop a UHF receiver into the unified chassis if you want to use
it as a regular repeater.
These were removed from service working. I've had them in storage for 3
or 4 years and haven't really looked at them, nor have I tested them.
They're sold as-is.
I have to get rid of them this week. I don't want much for them - I
just want them to go away. There are other parts laying around as well,
probably a couple of UHF unified chassis from 75 watt stations (PA's
might be missing, I forget). Pickup only. The storage location is a
few miles from downtown Philadelphia, less than 5 minutes from I-76.
Ideally I'd like to set up a pickup time for this Saturday, but could
possibly meet one night during the week.
If you're interested in one, some, or all of them, please email ASAP and
make a resonable offer. Thanks.
