We gave every one a date when we would turn on the PL on the repeater. You
can add a Comspec encoder to any radio for under $30.00. Hey its only 3 wires
and two are power. The third I like to put on the discriminator pot most of the
time. So any Ham should be able to install PL or some one could help with the
install. So the I don't have PL will not wash.

out the tone temp-off. Oops no touch tone board. Too bad we have 4 less

said repeater owners were smart. The SERA group just rescinded their new
rule of requiring CTCSS/DCS on all new repeater pairs because too many of
the old farts complained. (most probably didn't know how to program a tone
in their machines or radios.) (might have something to do with cousins
marrying cousins)
