Jeff & Kevin, Jeff , you hit the nail on the head! I just found out that "this strip" that I'm installing in a Spectra Tac Housing did in fact come out of a mobile! Like I said in the earlier email, it just didn't look like someone removed the shield. I have completed it's re-crystal and tune up and it seems to work perfect. (about -116dbm for 12db sinad).
Hopefully it will work just as well on the mountain but if it doesn't, I now know where to look. Thanks alot guys.....you learn something new everyday.
