does anyone have a chart that shows what the jumpers do on the back plane of the station? does anyone have a pinout or a schematic of the back plane that says what pin is what? if the cr957 is clipped and gone than what else could be causing low audio? how low should I set my signal generator when I go to tune a micor station receiver? will tuning the micor station receiver do anything for the audio level?
the N1IB 440 repeater is on the air but it can't be heard past about 3 miles away and it can't hear from that far away. I am currently running on a Larson 5/8 wave dual band mobile antenna about 15 feet in the air at the end of about 70 feet of RG8X coax coming from the micor station. the repeater antenna and hard line will being going up this Sunday at the antenna raising party but I would like to get the audio figured out before that. the only card I have in the station is the station control card the audio on the speaker in the test set mounted in the speaker sounds fine. the discriminator audio reaching the control is just very low however it is high enough for the controller to hear the dtmfs used for controlling it. the audio generated by the controller sounds great on the repeater. any help with these questions please. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Neil McKie" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Tuesday, December 07, 2004 12:04 AM Subject: Re: [Repeater-Builder] MICOR LOW AUDIO > > > Exactly correct !!! > > Neil - WA6KLA > > > Gerald Pelnar wrote: > > > > ----- Original Message ----- > > From: "David" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > > > > > my repeater is a micor compu station I have used the following site to > > make > > > the connections between the repeater and the controller > > > http://www.ccdx.org/zedyx/mods/micorbas.htm > > > so audio coming from the micor is just low is there something I missed in > > > making the micor into a repeater? > > > > Was this originally a base station?
