ok here is a question

if we use 802.11b but use the upper channels IE 11 we are now play'n in our band (here in Canada) I don't know about your band plans in the US ..

so if we where to use the upper limits of the device would we not be in our rights ??? again this would be for REPEATER use not to resell the bandwith ..

Just a thought .. and would like to hear your answers to this ..
