We use DCI filters (the 146/440db) in our Emergency Operations Center
located in down town Atlanta. Without the filter we couldn't operate a two
meter or 70 cm radio without lots of intermod. Inserting the DCI filter
completely cleared up the problem. Since we operate there in close
proximity to EMA and county/city radio services it helps insure we don't
put RF into their radios.

You need to remember that there is no filter that will remove interference
resulting from a mix elsewhere that puts those products on your frequency.
The best way to prevent the mix from happening in your PA is to use a
circulator/isolator.

The DCI filters are helical resonator type filters in nice machined boxes
and remind me of Mastr II receiver front ends.
