Guess this qualifies me for the Old FARTS club, which another
ham
and I started. Check out KC0SVS callsign. I had a
5V in the
middle 60's. A lot of the other hams were using the
newer80D's and
I envied them.

Motorola.....I worked on lot's of 80D's
but never a 5V.

misperception.
i refuze to be classified generically as an 'old-guy'...even if it
