Rick,

The conventional practice is to install a grounding kit at the point
just before the feedline enters the radio shed, and run the grounding
lead straight down to a grounding electrode.  Inside the shed, your
lightning/surge arrestor should be solidly grounded to the station
grounding electrode and bonded to the cabinet or rack containing your
equipment.

TESSCO Supply and Talley Supply are two sources for Heliax grounding
kits.  Some radio distributors are closing out their inventories that
include grounding kits, so an Internet search may be fruitful.
