Hi Sean, 

Have you tried placing the transmitter into a 
load/termination, then observe if the problem 
changes? 

Also later testing with the cover(s) off, does 
the spur go away when you pull the tx element 
to stop the transmitter? 

How much power is output from the tx? 

Do you have a circulator/isolator in line?
