Thank you very much, John.  When I searched for Simpson, another firm came up and I saw no link to or mention of a repair offer.  This sure answers my question.  Too, thanks to all others who responded.  Great group.

I know this is a bit off subject, but can anyone provide me with info on 
who can/will repair Simpson meters?  I have a couple or 260's that badly 
need TLC, and I still appreciate the "'ole needles."  I no longer have 
the address provided on the manual, so any help will be greatly 
appreciated, especially those who come recommended..
