Well at least I can fine flat packs!
Most folks on the list who use Cook tower just love them! As for Maggiore
Repeaters I have 26 on the air! I can buy any repeater I care to new, used
or rebuild but I most of the time for my system buy Maggiore or for GMRS or
900 I buy Kenwood. It just works. I buy all my stuff out of my own packet
new. So yes I use Cook towers as the more you buy the better the price.
Plus they have what we need in the Ham bands. In stock. tried to buy a
DB-420 or DB-408 lately in the 440 band? No one stocks them but Cook. Not
TESSCO, Talley or Hutton. So yes I will tell folks to try Cook if they can
not get it any where else. As for Paul and Dee Maggiore you can not beat
there NEW repeaters. Folks who own and operated them will tell you that.
Folks who deal with Cook will tell you the same they are great folks and
have what we Hams need. No minim order and they ship out fast. How about a
toll free number that you can call and just chat (they call it visit) about
a problem. Can't fine that to much now a days. So yes I will pass on what I
have found and yes if you need a flat pack I know where you can buy one and
yes they still make them. So before you put foot in mouth check some things
out!
Some folks you talk about are on the list monitoring and will reply to your
BS! Know of what you speak. I will only pass on things I know to be 1st hand
fact.
Very best of 73,
Russ, W3CH
