That's why I use nothing but Telewave or TXRX receive multicouplers on my
commercial tower.  I still have the Radio Shack splitter, can't remember
what I built it for but have never used it on the tower.

Be sure to check port-to-port isolation on the 75 ohm splitter.  The one's
I've tried checked good (~20 dB) but not all are the same of course.

Even with 20 to 30 dB separation between ports, it's still possible that a
bad RX connected to one port can gunk up the others.  Once we had someone's
RX preamp break into oscillation & backfeed 0 dBm into the splitter.
