HI YAll The MTR 2000 dose great on 2 meters and 440 also. We have 2 voted systems using 10 MTR 2000'S on VHF(2 meters), & 8 on UHF (440), but you are right you need to specify the range when ordering (or have a very good Motorola rep) and a big checkbook. they work with both the astro tac voter and the spectra tac voter.
