Neil, I remember them, the Singer's as well, just never used them. No, I have never used one of the Deviation Scopes. When I first started in the two-way industry I was the only one of three that did not have a license in our shop. My boss made me an offer of a $1.50 per hour raise if I got my license, I did and he did give me that raise. That started a long and for the most part very happy career in the radio industry. I still am in the industry with my own small two way radio service company with my own 500 foot tower. I have two customers, they are both municipalities. Two-Way is nothing like it used to be!

I remember the Gertsch FM-3's ... followed by the FM-6 and FM-7. The FM-7 came out with a Motorola label as the T-1020 I think. I am quite certain I can locate one for you in case you are interested. Maybe be for the Kevin Custer Museum? Also, used to have two Radio Speciality Deviation 'Scopes. Want to date yourself? I worked in one 2-way shop one time where there were only two licensed radio tech's among the 7 or 8 employees there. I was one of the licensed tech's.
